MSP360 Tools

msp360_ · 95 tools · Free 61 · Pro 34 One connector over two MSP360 APIs on two fixed global hosts with two separate credentials. Managed Backup (api.mspbackups.com) takes a console-generated API Login and Password, exchanged at POST /api/Provider/Login for a bearer cached 30 minutes and re-minted once on a 401 - MSP360 documents no token lifetime and issues no refresh token. MSP360 RMM (api.rmm.mspbackups.com) takes a separate static console-issued JWT, held in ExtraCredentials and OPTIONAL: RMM tokens go only to accounts with a paid RMM license, so a backup-only tenant is normal and a missing token never marks the connection unhealthy. The auth handler selects the credential by request HOST. Paging has two models: Managed Backup pages by offset/count as PATH SEGMENTS on three routes and returns everything else unpaginated, while RMM fleet-wide statistics page by pageNumber/pageSize; the 200-row ceiling is StackJack-side. Three tools delete a customer's backup data and say so in their descriptions.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: create or replace the authorization on a computer that is currently online, binding it to a user and company. This re-points a live endpoint at a different account, and MSP360 documents it as a create-or-update, so an existing authorization is replaced rather than merged. POST /api/Computers//authorization on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the AuthorizeComputerRequest model with these fields - optional: UserId, CompanyId.
hidstringyesRequired. HID of endpoint.

[MSP360] Create a backup or restore plan on one computer. Additive - it adds a plan and changes nothing that already exists, which is why it is not marked destructive. The plan does not run until it is scheduled or started. POST /api/Computers//Plans on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the CreatePlanRequest model with these fields - optional: PlanType, Plan.
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: remove the authorization from a computer. The endpoint stops being managed by this MSP360 account and its agent can no longer run its plans until it is authorized again. DELETE /api/Computers//authorization on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. HID of endpoint.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE AND IRREVERSIBLE - THIS DELETES THE CUSTOMER'S BACKUP DATA. MSP360's own words for this operation: 'Deletes a certain plan by the specified computer HID and plan ID. Backup data will be deleted along with the backup plan according to backup storage policies.' It destroys the customer's restore points, not a StackJack record, and nothing in MSP360 undoes it. If you only want the plan to stop running, use msp360_stop_computer_plan instead - that halts the plan and leaves every existing restore point in place. Confirm with a human who owns the data before calling it. DELETE /api/Computers//Plans/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.
idstringyesRequired. Plan ID.

[MSP360] Get one managed computer (endpoint) by its MSP360 HID. The HID is MSP360's own unique device identifier and is the key to join Managed Backup data against the MSP360 RMM statistics tools, which are also keyed on HID. Get HIDs from msp360_list_computers or msp360_list_plan_statuses. GET /api/Computers/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. The computer HID, from msp360_list_computers or msp360_list_plan_statuses.

[MSP360] Retrieves information about a backup/restore plan on the computer (endpoint) by the specified plan ID. GET /api/Computers//Plans/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. HID of computer.
idstringyesRequired. Plan ID.

[MSP360] Get the run history of one plan on one computer, optionally narrowed to a year, month or day. Use this after msp360_list_plan_statuses shows a failure, to see how far back the failure goes. GET /api/Computers//Plans//history on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
dateDayintegernonullOptional. Narrow the history to this day of the month.
dateMonthintegernonullOptional. Narrow the history to this month number, 1 to 12.
dateYearintegernonullOptional. Narrow the history to this calendar year.
hidstringyesRequired. The computer HID.
idstringyesRequired. The id.

[MSP360] Retrieves certain plan info by the specified computer HID and plan ID. GET /api/Computers//Plans//info on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.
idstringyesRequired. Plan ID.

[MSP360] List the backup history of a company's managed computers. companyId is required - get it from msp360_list_companies. Paging is by offset and count as PATH segments, counted in COMPUTERS rather than history rows; StackJack caps count at 200. GET /api/Computers/Plans/history// on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
companyIdstringyesRequired. The company ID, from msp360_list_companies.
countintegerno100Optional. How many computers to return history for. Defaults to 100; capped at 200 by StackJack.
monthintegernonullOptional. The month.
offsetintegerno0Optional. How many computers to skip before the page starts. Defaults to 0.
yearintegernonullOptional. The year.

[MSP360] List the disks of one computer. MSP360 declares BOTH the profile and the isOffline arguments as required with no default: isOffline chooses where the answer comes from - true reads the last known values from the MSP360 settings service, false asks the computer itself and therefore needs it to be online. GET /api/Computers//Disks on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. HID of computer.
isOfflinebooleanyesRequired. True reads the stored values from the MSP360 settings service; false asks the computer directly, which needs the endpoint online.
profilestringyesRequired. The MSP360 backup profile to read disks for.

[MSP360] Retrieves certain plan history by the specified computer HID and plan ID. GET /api/Computers//Plans/history// on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
countintegerno100Optional. How many records to return. Defaults to 100; capped at 200 by StackJack.
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.
monthintegernonullOptional. The month.
offsetintegerno0Optional. How many records to skip before the page starts. Defaults to 0.
yearintegernonullOptional. The year.

[MSP360] List the backup and restore plans configured on one computer. Returns the plan IDs the plan detail, history, start, stop, update and delete tools take. GET /api/Computers//Plans on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
hidstringyesRequired. HID of computer.

[MSP360] List the managed computers (endpoints) in the MSP360 Managed Backup account. This is the endpoint inventory: start here to find the computer HID that every other computer and plan tool takes. Paging is by offset and count as PATH segments, and MSP360 publishes no maximum for count - StackJack caps it at 200 per call. Page until a short page comes back; there is no total count and no more-pages flag. GET /api/Computers// on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
countintegerno100Optional. How many computers to return. Defaults to 100; capped at 200 by StackJack (MSP360 publishes no maximum).
offsetintegerno0Optional. How many computers to skip before the page starts. Defaults to 0.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: start a backup or restore plan on a live customer endpoint now. Nothing is deleted, but this dispatches real work to a machine somebody is using - a restore plan overwrites files on it, and a backup plan consumes the customer's storage and bandwidth. MSP360 offers no cancel beyond msp360_stop_computer_plan. POST /api/Computers//Plans//start on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the StartPlanRequest model with these fields - optional: Mode.
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.
idstringyesRequired. Plan ID.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: stop a running backup or restore plan on a live customer endpoint. A stopped backup leaves that run incomplete, so the customer's most recent restore point stays the previous one; a stopped restore can leave partially written files behind. POST /api/Computers//Plans//stop on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the StopPlanRequest model with these fields - optional: Force.
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.
idstringyesRequired. Plan ID.

[MSP360] Changes plan settings for the plan specified by plan ID on the computer (endpoint) by the specified computer HID. PUT /api/Computers//Plans/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the UpdatePlanRequest model with these fields - optional: Plan.
hidstringyesRequired. HID of the computer.
idstringyesRequired. Plan ID.

Users

ToolPlanAccessSummary
msp360_authenticate_userFreeRead-onlyLook up a backup end-user by their MSP360 login and password.
msp360_create_userProWriteCreate a backup end-user.
msp360_delete_user_accountProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE: delete the user account metadata.
msp360_delete_user_and_backup_dataProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE AND IRREVERSIBLE - THIS DELETES THE CUSTOMER'S BACKUP DATA.
msp360_delete_user_computers_and_backup_dataProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE AND IRREVERSIBLE - THIS DELETES THE CUSTOMER'S BACKUP DATA.
msp360_get_userFreeRead-onlyRetrieves user metadata by the specified user ID.
msp360_list_user_computersFreeRead-onlyRetrieves a list of user's computers (endpoints) by the specified user ID.
msp360_list_usersFreeRead-onlyList the backup end-users across every company in the MSP360 Managed Backup account.
msp360_update_userProWriteChange a backup end-user's properties.

[MSP360] Look up a backup end-user by their MSP360 login and password. Despite the PUT verb and the name, MSP360 documents this as a read - 'Retrieves a user by user login and password' - and it changes nothing. It is how you resolve an end-user who knows their own credentials to a user ID. PUT /api/Users/Authenticate on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the UserAuthData model with these fields - required: Email, Password.

[MSP360] Create a backup end-user. Additive - nothing existing is changed. Setting SendEmailInstruction to true makes MSP360 email the new user, so treat that field as reaching a human. POST /api/Users on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the UsersAddModels model with these fields - required: Email, Enabled, Password; optional: FirstName, LastName, NotificationEmails, Company, DestinationList, SendEmailInstruction, LicenseManagmentMode.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: delete the user account metadata. This is the NARROWER of MSP360's two user deletes - the vendor states 'Backup data is not deleted from the backup storage', so the customer's restore points survive and the account that reached them does not. The wider sibling, msp360_delete_user_and_backup_data, destroys the backups too; the two routes differ by one path segment, so read the name twice. DELETE /api/Users//Account on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. User unique identifier.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE AND IRREVERSIBLE - THIS DELETES THE CUSTOMER'S BACKUP DATA. MSP360's own words: 'Deletes the user account metadata along with the backup data by the specified user ID.' Every restore point that user owns is destroyed and nothing in MSP360 undoes it. If you want to remove the account but KEEP the backups, use msp360_delete_user_account instead - MSP360 documents that one as 'Backup data is not deleted from the backup storage'. DELETE /api/Users/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. User unique identifier.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE AND IRREVERSIBLE - THIS DELETES THE CUSTOMER'S BACKUP DATA. MSP360's own words: 'Deletes computer metadata along with backup data by the specified user ID.' The body names which computers, by destination ID and computer name. Every restore point on those computers is destroyed and nothing in MSP360 undoes it. If you want to remove the account but KEEP the backups, use msp360_delete_user_account instead - MSP360 documents that one as 'Backup data is not deleted from the backup storage'. DELETE /api/Users//Computers on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as a JSON ARRAY of MSP360 UserComputerData objects - required: DestinationId, ComputerName.
userIdstringyesRequired. User unique identifier.

[MSP360] Retrieves user metadata by the specified user ID. GET /api/Users/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. User unique identifier.

[MSP360] Retrieves a list of user's computers (endpoints) by the specified user ID. GET /api/Users//Computers on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
useridstringyesRequired. The userid.

[MSP360] List the backup end-users across every company in the MSP360 Managed Backup account. Returns the user IDs the user, destination, license and monitoring tools take. MSP360 returns the whole set - this route takes no paging arguments. GET /api/Users on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

[MSP360] Change a backup end-user's properties. Send the full user object MSP360 documents; ID and Enabled are required. Setting Enabled to false disables the user's backups without deleting anything, which is the reversible way to suspend a customer. PUT /api/Users on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the UsersEditModels model with these fields - required: ID, Enabled; optional: Email, FirstName, LastName, NotificationEmails, Company, Password, LicenseManagmentMode.

msp360_update_storage_account_destinationProWriteChanges the backup destination.

[MSP360] Add one or more existing backup destinations (buckets) to a storage account. Additive: existing destinations are left alone. Use msp360_create_storage_account_destination when the destination does not exist yet. POST /api/Accounts/AddDestination on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the DestinationOfAccountCreate model with these fields - required: AccountID, Destination; optional: DestinationDisplayName, ImmutabilityPeriodDays.

[MSP360] Adds a new account. POST /api/Accounts on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the Account model with these fields - required: DisplayName, Type, AccountSettings.

[MSP360] Creates a new backup destination for existing storage accounts. POST /api/Accounts/CreateDestination on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the AccountDestinationCreateModel model with these fields - required: AccountID, DisplayName, DestinationSettings.

[MSP360] Retrieves account properties by the specified account ID. GET /api/Accounts/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. Account unique identifier.

[MSP360] List the storage accounts backups are written to - Amazon S3, Azure, Google Cloud, Wasabi, Backblaze, Cloudian, MinIO, OpenStack, S3-compatible and plain filesystem. Each carries its own settings shape. Returns the account IDs the destination tools take. GET /api/Accounts on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: remove a backup destination from a storage account. MSP360 serves this removal behind a PUT verb, which is why it needs saying plainly. Plans still pointed at that destination lose the place their backups were going. PUT /api/Accounts/RemoveDestination on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the DestinationOfAccount model with these fields - required: DestinationID, AccountID, Destination; optional: DestinationDisplayName, ImmutabilityPeriodDays.

[MSP360] Changes the account properties. PUT /api/Accounts on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the DestinationOfAccount model with these fields - required: DestinationID, AccountID, Destination; optional: DestinationDisplayName, ImmutabilityPeriodDays.

User Destinations

ToolPlanAccessSummary
msp360_add_user_destinationProWriteAdds a backup destination to the user.
msp360_delete_user_destinationProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE: remove a backup destination from a user.
msp360_list_user_destinationsFreeRead-onlyList one backup end-user's destinations, looked up by that user's email address.
msp360_update_user_destinationProWriteChanges the backup destination for the user.

[MSP360] Adds a backup destination to the user. POST /api/Destinations on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the AddUserDestination model with these fields - required: UserID, AccountID, Destination, PackageID.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: remove a backup destination from a user. The user's plans that wrote to that destination lose it. Both the destination ID and the user ID are required. DELETE /api/Destinations/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. The id.
userIdstringyesRequired. The user the destination belongs to, from msp360_list_users.

[MSP360] List one backup end-user's destinations, looked up by that user's email address. This is the user-level view of storage; msp360_list_storage_accounts is the account-level one. GET /api/Destinations/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
userEmailstringyesRequired. User login(email).

[MSP360] Changes the backup destination for the user. PUT /api/Destinations on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

Companies

ToolPlanAccessSummary
msp360_create_companyProWriteCreates a new company.
msp360_delete_companyProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE: delete a company (a customer) from MSP360 Managed Backup.
msp360_get_companyFreeRead-onlyRetrieves a company by the specified company ID.
msp360_list_companiesFreeRead-onlyList the companies (the MSP's customers) in the MSP360 Managed Backup account.
msp360_update_companyProWriteChanges company properties.

[MSP360] Creates a new company. POST /api/Companies on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the CompanyCreateModel model with these fields - optional: Name, StorageLimit, LicenseSettings, Destinations, DefaultLicense, AllowedLicenses.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: delete a company (a customer) from MSP360 Managed Backup. A company is the top of the customer hierarchy - its users and their computers hang off it. MSP360 does not document what happens to the backup data underneath, so treat this as capable of taking a customer's whole estate with it and confirm with a human first. DELETE /api/Companies/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. company Id.

[MSP360] Retrieves a company by the specified company ID. GET /api/Companies/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. Company ID.

[MSP360] List the companies (the MSP's customers) in the MSP360 Managed Backup account. This is the multi-tenant primitive: every customer-scoped call needs a company ID from here. One MSP360 API credential sees every company - MSP360 has no way to scope a credential to one customer. GET /api/Companies on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

[MSP360] Changes company properties. PUT /api/Companies on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the CompanyModel model with these fields - optional: Id, Name, StorageLimit, LicenseSettings, Destinations, DefaultLicense, AllowedLicenses.

Administrators

ToolPlanAccessSummary
msp360_create_administratorProWriteCreate an MSP360 administrator.
msp360_delete_administratorProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE: delete an MSP360 administrator.
msp360_get_administratorFreeRead-onlyRetrieves administrator properties by specified administrator ID.
msp360_list_administratorsFreeRead-onlyList the MSP's own administrator logins.
msp360_update_administratorProWriteChange an MSP360 administrator's properties.

[MSP360] Create an MSP360 administrator. Additive. Note two fields that reach outside MSP360: SendInstruction emails the new administrator, and PermissionsModels decides what they can do - creating an administrator with broad permissions widens who can reach every customer's backups. POST /api/Administrators on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the AdministratorsNewModels model with these fields - required: Email, InitialPassword, Enabled, PermissionsModels; optional: SendInstruction, FirstName, LastName, AccountType, Companies, AccessToCompaniesMode.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: delete an MSP360 administrator. Any MSP360 RMM API token issued against that administrator stops working, which includes the token this StackJack connector may be using for its RMM tools. DELETE /api/Administrators/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. The id.

[MSP360] Retrieves administrator properties by specified administrator ID. GET /api/Administrators/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. Administrators unique identifier.

[MSP360] List the MSP's own administrator logins. An administrator ID from here is what an MSP360 RMM API token is issued against in the MSP360 console. GET /api/Administrators on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

[MSP360] Change an MSP360 administrator's properties. Send the full object MSP360 documents: AdminID, Enabled and PermissionsModels are required, and omitting a field MSP360 expects can widen or narrow what that administrator can reach. Setting Enabled to false suspends the login without deleting it. PUT /api/Administrators on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the AdministratorsEditModels model with these fields - required: AdminID, Enabled, PermissionsModels; optional: Password, FirstName, LastName, Companies, AccountType, AccessToCompaniesMode.

Licenses

ToolPlanAccessSummary
msp360_get_licenseFreeRead-onlyRetrieves licenses by the specified license ID.
msp360_grant_licenseProWriteAssign a license to an existing user.
msp360_list_licensesFreeRead-onlyList the MSP360 licenses in the account.
msp360_release_licenseProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE: release a license from a user, deprovisioning them.
msp360_revoke_licenseProDestructiveDESTRUCTIVE: revoke a license, which MSP360 describes as releasing the information about the computer it was bound to.

[MSP360] Retrieves licenses by the specified license ID. GET /api/Licenses/ on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
idstringyesRequired. License unique identifier.

[MSP360] Assign a license to an existing user. Additive and reversible - msp360_release_license takes it back. Both LicenseID and UserID are required. POST /api/Licenses/Grant on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the LicenseOperation model with these fields - required: LicenseID, UserID.

[MSP360] List the MSP360 licenses in the account. Pass isAvailable=true to see only the ones not currently assigned to a user - that is the answer to 'do I have a spare seat'. GET /api/Licenses on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
isAvailablebooleannonullOptional. True returns only licenses that are not currently assigned.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: release a license from a user, deprovisioning them. The user stops being licensed to back up, so their plans stop working, and the seat returns to the pool. POST /api/Licenses/Release on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the LicenseOperation model with these fields - required: LicenseID, UserID.

[MSP360] DESTRUCTIVE: revoke a license, which MSP360 describes as releasing the information about the computer it was bound to. Harder than a release: the tie between the license and that endpoint is broken, not just the assignment. POST /api/Licenses/Revoke on the MSP360 Managed Backup API. Returns raw MSP360 JSON.

ParamTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
bodyJsonstringyesRequired. The request body as JSON. MSP360 documents the LicenseOperation model with these fields - required: LicenseID, UserID.

Packages

ToolPlanAccessSummary
msp360_create_packageProWriteCreates a new package.
